In 2025, we actively participated in international events and strengthened global partnerships to promote the development of gateball. Below are the highlights from each event.
1. Participation in the 5th Thailand Open Master Games 2025
Date: January 13–17, 2025
Location: Pathum Thani, Thailand
Representatives joined the Thailand Open Master Games, fostering international engagement and promoting gateball among senior athletes.
2. Visit to the Chinese Gateball Association
Date: August 21–24, 2025
Representatives met with Mr. Yu Jianyong, Chairman of the Chinese Gateball Association, and also with Mr. Imagawa, President of the World Gateball Union (WGU), with the aim of enhancing cooperation and fostering closer ties for the future development of gateball in the Asia-Pacific region.
3. Visit to the Birthplace of Gateball & Participation in the 38th Gateball Anniversary Tournament
Date: August 29–31, 2025
Members visited the birthplace of gateball and took part in the 38th Anniversary Gateball Tournament, celebrating the sport’s history and strengthening international connections.

4. Participation in Australian Gateball Championship 2025
Date: October 16–19, 2025
Location: Newcastle, Australia
President Lin attended the event in support of the member nation’s competition and led the delegation in participation.
5. Participation in the international tournament in Hong Kong and Macau
Date: December 5–11, 2025
Location: Hong Kong, China and Macau, China

Representatives took part in events in Hong Kong and Macau, strengthening international engagement and promoting gateball throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
